Report: Brand set for season-ending surgery

Elton Brand will reportedly undergo season-ending shoulder surgery on Monday.
Impact: Just yesterday it was reported that Brand's shoulder was healing and he would play on Thursday against Indiana, but having seen him struggle in nine minutes against the Celtics Tuesday, it's no surprise that he appears to be done for the year. You may want to wait for more definitive confirmation before cutting Brand loose, but it looks like his first season in Philadelphia is over.
