Avery to start skating soon

Sean Avery may begin skating as early as Monday with hopes of returning to the NHL.
Impact: In addition to being suspended six games for inflammatory comments about women, Avery was also order to seek anger management therapy. He hasn't been cleared yet by these doctors, but is believed to be close to finishing the therapy. He is preparing to talk to NHL commissioner Gary Bettman about a possible return to the league. However, the Stars have publicly said they will not accept him back - so he'd have to be dealt to another team or claimed off waivers, if the team decides to go that route. There may be some movement on this front in the next week or two.
