Aric Almirola in Guitar Hero Chevy at Daytona

Aric Almirola, will make his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at Daytona International Speedway in the No. 8 Guitar Hero World Tour Chevrolet.
Impact: Almirola will take the reigns of the No. 8 Chevrolet full-time in 2009 after sharing the ride in 2008 and finishing the season in 14th place in the standings. The 24-year-old native of Tampa, Florida competed in 12 NSCS events in 2008, collecting one top-10 finish at Bristol Motor Speedway. In his only two NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) starts at Daytona during the 2007 season Almirola recorded a very impressive pole position for the season opener and started third in the mid-summer classic.
